What better way to introduce riders to OC Metrolink service than a free ticket give-away to the L.A. Lunar New Year’s Parade in Chinatown. Until interrupted by COVID-19, each year hundreds of OC residents would descend on the Irvine Metrolink station for a free pass on Metrolink to L.A. Union Station. Some would dress in costume. All were there to enjoy refreshments, a performance of the Lion Dance and to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. Klein+Klein developed outreach material for print, online, and social media.
